U12 Boys Win 2009 Houston Labor Day Cup!!!

The Flying Eagles 98 Boys completed an undefeated weekend by lifting the 2009 Houston Labor Day Cup at Bear Creek Park.

Congratulations to the boys for their 6-game run through the group and playoff rounds, culminating in a hard fought, come from behind, 3-1 win in the final.

After a busy summer for many of the boys, which included a tournament in England, this is a great kick-off to the year and they will now look to continue their form in EDDOA play beginning this weekend.

2009 Arsenal International Soccer Festival

The Flying Eagles took 3 teams to England to compete in the Arsenal International Football Tournament. The teams competed at the U11, U13 and U14 levels.  See a recap of the tournament under "International Tournaments"
